  • Condition: Signed "Mogan Sterling" ring. Previously worn and enjoyed. Black, Grey and Blue "iridescent" stone. Hand crafted Bezel set with bead work edge. ABOUT a size 5 maybe smaller. Approx 1 3/16" x 3/4". The stone on one end MAY have had either a natural occlusion or a small chip and it may have had some type of filler added to keep the stone smooth. I do not know this for sure. This artist was from the Vermont area, had an antique shop and was a prominent jewelry maker in the area.     This listing is for a Signed Sterling Silver and Stone Ring. Signed on the back is "MOGAN Sterling". This is a very nice one-of-a-kind Ring. I do NOT know the type of stone, but it is pretty. The stone is a Cabochon Oval gray, black and blue iridescent stone, bezel set in Sterling, with 3 rings of bead work around it. The band is a double band soldered together. This is probably about a size 5, maybe smaller. It measures about 1 3/16" x 3/4".
    This ring is in very good condition. I see the stone, on one end MAY have had either a natural occlusion or a small chip and it may have had some type of filler added to keep the stone smooth. I do not know this for sure. It has been previously worn and enjoyed and will need to be cleaned and polished, I quickly wiped off with a polishing cloth for pictures.
    This piece was acquired from my private client, she is downsizing her collections. This was made by her father who lived in the Vermont area, had an Antique Store and was a prominent jewelry maker of the time in the surrounding New England area.
