Silver Plate Horse Trophy / 1935.
Measuring 12 inches in diameter, this piece was awarded to Trench Bridge for second place in the Scurry Outside Course at the Roxborough Horse Show in 1935. It has a raised gold tone horse head at the top of the charger. Really well done, and unusual, at least in my experience. It is marked Wallace Double Plate on its reverse. Haven’t tried to clean this and am offering it as found. I see some light scratches and roughness around a small area on the edge. One or two pings that don’t distract.
