A superb copy in Mint condition
Out of print for a long time now, you simply don't see this series anymore; they are that rare!  Especially the Ornithoptera set (p12, vol 1 & 2)
Images are photographs, not illustrations (except for the rear cover of the text volume, which is an 1892 reproduction and suitable for framing (see pic # 3)
I have provided as many photos of the pages as practical, and please note they are merely cell phone shots, The actual pages of the book(s) are bright glossy white, and the butterflies are in brilliant true life color.
This is a large format set measuring appr: 13.5" x 9.5"
This book has been kept for years in a heat sealed plastic sleeve.  Just opened for the pictures and this listing.
Books will be shipped FLAT in protective plastic & between card stock & Styrofoam sheets for protection against folds.
