in training establishments, Race-
horses are always stabled in
loose boxes to give them the
extra freedom they need for
perfect condition. The ventil-
ation, drainage and general
design of these buildings receive
careful attention, since except
for exercise hours early in the
morning and occasional visits
to the course, the racehorse in
training spends his time in his
stable.
