Heisey Minuet Etched Apple Shaped Covered Marmalade Jar

Description

A  Heisey & Co. covered marmalade jar in clear crystal. It is made in the shape of an apple with a stemmed lid and has a molded opening for a spoon. Lid and base are etched in Heisey's Minuet pattern with a musician, a lady with fan, and a gentleman in three panels, surrounded by medallions and garlands. This is a rare piece and is in good condition - there are manufacturing imperfections and a small bruise on the inside of the lid and some age wear scratches on the bottom ground rim of base. No chips or cracks.  Signed in mold with Heisey's Diamond "H" in center of bottom. Height to top of stem is 4" X 3.75" wide.
