    .577 caliber original Civil War Enfield bullet recovered in the Sharpsburg, aka Antietam, battlefield area on private property with permission. Comes with the label out of the old collection it was in.
    Confederate soldiers used these types of bullets. This one is a drop and was either chewed or carved on a little bit by a soldier at the base.
