    2 Civil War Williams Cleaner .58 Caliber Bullets recovered from the outer defenses of Richmond, Virginia. These bullets are one of the most Unique of the war. The base section worked as a plunger which caused the zinc washer to spread out and clean the bore of the gun when fired. The bullets shown are representative bullets of the Williams Cleaner pattern and I have several to offer in pairs. These pictured are Williams Type III.
