    Description

I recovered this "Case Shot" Shell fragment on the "First National" Golf Course  in1993 right off of the 'Old Sudley Ford Road'. The chances of you diggin' your own First Bull Run Battlefield Relic has passed, at least two decades ago. This piece is rare and their won't be many more, if any, from this site. It measures roughly 2 and 1/2" X 3" and I believe that it came from a "Rifled Cannon", used by the Union that day. I gained permission from the Golf Course's Head Groundskeeper and dug this one in an old house foundation along the "Union Retreat Route".  This Shell Fragment was recovered on Private Property with Permission and is a true piece of Civil War History!
Guaranteed to be from the Battle of the First Bull Run. A Lincoln Penny in the pictures for Scale.
It will make a great addittion to any serious Civil War Collection.
    Thanks for looking, Dave
