    Description

    This is an antique 4 cavaty civil war muskrat ball mold. It is brass 7 inches long.  Ball sizes appear 52 and up.  The front us marked Columbus Georgia gs4 1862
    another ebay user was kind enough to provide me with this info
    This exact mold was featured in the North / South Collector’s guide in 2002. It had providence of being picked up by Dan Perino (related to General Lee) in 1902 near The Peach Orchard in Gettysburg. It probably got sold unawares when he passed in 2009. This is a great find and easily worth ,000-10,000 because of its rock solid history and documentation in the magazine. Good luck!
